What did you use to make the gas pump handle? :O_o:

Instead of a gas pump handle thingy, you could you the handle from a weed whacker or something like that.... That what I'm hoping to use for my cosplay this summer. But still, really nice job!

This looks really cool--it's great to see a breakdown of the Pyro flamethrower. Even if it's not right in all the tiny details, it still looks good, and it's a useful guide for those of us making our first flamethrowers. :D I was just going to make the Axetinguisher and the Homewrecker, but now I'm inspired. Thanks!

This is too funny. I've been thinking I need to get a prop flamethrower for my Joker cosplay. Joker has used them before and can you think of a more dangerous weapon in more dangerous hands? And what does my google search for flamethrower prop cosplay lead me to? This comment by my good friend "Maw" from 2010.
Did you ever get your flamethrower built?

Heh, sorry this took so long! I've been busy. >_<

No, I never managed to construct it. I made the Pyro's fire axe, but I put the flamethrower on hold because work has really killed my ability to make any huge construction projects right now. It's a great ref, though.

Great to hear from you! And I completely understand being to busy for anything fun. Sucks, don't it?

It is a great ref. I've been toying with the idea of getting one of those "Ripley's Flamethrower from Alien" Props and painting it up Joker style. Can you imagine how crazy fun deadly my Joker would be with one of those? :D
But alas, work and a lack of funds have so far prevented such an endeavor.
It's funny, isn't it, that we work so much yet money always seems scare.

EPIC! I'm actually hoping to have a Pyro cosplay someday-working on a Sniper now though as I dun feel like makin' a full body suit. This'll come in handy for when I get around to it though. It looks awsome!

thanks :3 the finished version looks more awesome then u may even imagine. but its to heavy to cary because of the propan tank. i took it to a convention and it got damaged. i will fix this up next spring and then upload a picture of it. i think it will become some sort of sculpture in my home then ;) it was just to expensive to drop it into the trash^^

Ah, the curse of large props-they're always so heavy. Having to lug around heavy backpacks in highschool is great conditioning though, lol. My Sniper cosplay's going to have a shitlaod of wooden props-riffle, kukri, and razorback. |D I'm amazed I dun have back problems actually. XD
